A Good Read
I have bean reading a book and so far I really think that it is a good book.So I thought that I should tell anyone that likes reading about it and it is called Summer Of The Monkeys and I thought that most of you that like more adventures tales would love this.I think that I should tell all of you a little about the book so here it goes. It all starts when a family gets a letter from their parents saying that he traded something for a farm with 60 acers of land. The man takes all of the money that he has been saving for a new House and goes to the town store and buys two mules and a carriage. Then he and his wife put a small bath tub that they had lying around and stuffed it with corn husks and quilts for there two babies to ride in and they start out at night to go to there new house and do not stop until they get there.Fourteen years later the son goes out to the woods that he called the bottoms to get their cow that ran away. Then he found the cow and decided to go and explore a little.About thirty minutes later he is on his way back to the cow and here's a strange sound and a few minutes later his dog "Rowdy" starts to chase something. He goes chasing after the dog to find Rowdy barking up towards the top of the biggest tree in the bottoms. Then he looks the tree over and sees something that he has never seen before.Instead of going back to get the cow he goes straight back to his house and describes it to his dad and his dad said that it sounds like a monkey to him but he has never heard of wild monkeys in the bottoms so he said that he dose not believe him and he said that he would go get the cow "Betty".So he went to his house where his mom was working on diner so he asked if She needs anything from the store. So she made a list of everything that she needs and sent him to his grandpa's town store and told him just about everything that he told his dad and his grandpa said that just the other day two men came in asking if he had seen about thirty monkeys because his circus train wrecked on the railroads about 8 miles away. They take some traps that they put some soft padding on to catch the monkeys with and set them in the bottoms.I really don't think that I should give away any more of the book though. So if you end up buying or just getting it from your local library just write and tell me how you like it.
